JOB apply / example

I am writing you and apply for JOB as ROV pilot technician II with couple of recommendations:
I am posting you my CV., degree, references, demonstration of competences,
I am interested for a job as a RoV Pilot-trainee technician. II
After many years offshore, as a commercial diver, for various companies, I decided I should continue my career in Rov industry as a Rov Pilot.
I am educating sins 07th of January till 26th of January of January 2008 by Mr. Nigel Brazier Global Marine Systems Ltd training centre. In Portland Dorset for ROV pilot technician II and finished as the best on this course (96%)
I should contact some serious company regarding my future recruiting, just to avoid possibility of long months waiting on a first job ….
Also I am free I am quite aware of current increase in Rov Pilot personnel needs, so I hope I am applying on time, with following:
Long offshore experience on various projects gave dive assist for ROV’s, from Jacket installations (Saipem 3000 Temsah project), spool connections, to trenching activities (TRB Kashagan), Good knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and various maintenance.

My Safety Awareness is:
Ability to implement incident/near-miss reporting procedures when necessary
Ability to adhere to offshore safety standards and maintain a safe working environment for self and others
Ability to react to safety critical situations and what immediate action to be taken to minimize / eliminate them
Ability to work within company safety management system

Good Knowledge about all Emergency Procedures
Ability to recognize a potential or actual emergency situation and report it accordingly and to describe own role in emergency situations and that of colleagues

Ability for preventative Maintenance
Carry out ROV system maintenance and complete planned maintenance schedules
Carry out appropriate maintenance of ROV to PMS taking account of operational requirements and identify hazards likely to arise during maintenance activity
Ability to discuss work to be undertaken with supervisor
Ability to locate and follow fault finding and maintenance procedures for electronic systems within ROV system
Identification of hazards that could arise during fault finding and maintenance procedures
Ability to diagnose faults and maintain systems

Piloting an ROV
Demonstrates ability to navigate an ROV to the work site, in a range of environmental conditions, fully utilizing appropriate navigational aids
Ability to choose appropriate aids and operate ROV system if assessor not present; supervisor may be required

Technical Ability
Ability to prepare the work area, and to select and prepare the equipment and tools
Ability to remove termination from vehicle and cable identification for re-fit, after it has been risk assessed
Preparation of re-termination, including testing as necessary and correct handling of fiber optics, after it has been risk assessed
Performance of appropriate mechanical and electrical tests before reconnection, after it has been risk assessed
Ability to remove, test, inspect and install specialist equipment
Performance of correct maintenance procedures
Ability to plan sequence of operations, ensuring relevant authorizations, maintenance specifications and time limitations used under supervision

I am fluently speaking Serbo-Croatian, German, and English language, with basic knowledge of Italian.
Actually I hold two passports, Serbian and Bosnian, so I’ve been using them as will, avoiding problem of visas requirement in certain Muslim countries, simultaneously with trips to Israel, and act.
I am 43 years old, with a long experience, divorced, with two adult kids, which makes me available actually any time, no matter is it 28/28, 56/28, 56/56 or any other kind of rotation, required by Client, you as hopefully my future employer.
Many situations, lived threw offshore so far, as a commercial diver, shows I am quite familiar with IMCA Code of practice, as well as HSE policy of various companies, all around the globe.
With no restrictions, I’d like to say, I am a member of Mensa International, with IQ >148, which gave me self-confidence, as well as many recommendations from various work sites. I do strongly believe I shall improve as Rov Pilot in reasonable period of time. Of course, counting on my current and recent income, I do expect a fair date rates, depending of contract and education possibilities, you might offer me in scale of actually daily rate
